He was 15 and I was 14. Growing up together was a blessing and a curse. We got married after 13 years and had 3 beautiful children. To the outside world our life looked perfect but we were faking it. They say fake it till you make it and that exactly what we did. There was infidelity, drinking and drugs that played a BIG role in our life. We both quit drinking/drugs and thought that would fix everything but it didn’t. We were still in the same pattern of fighting all the time and dealing with all the hurt we felt from the infidelity and the fact that we were not completely honest with each other. I was completely unhappy and told my husband enough was enough and I was ready to go our separate ways, I had tons of anxiety and depression, our children were experiencing the same especially our oldest.
