Curiosity about people — their hearts, their struggles, and their hidden stories — showed up in me at a young age. I asked endless questions not to analyze but to truly understand. That same gentle curiosity still guides my work. When we sit together, my intention is simple: to know you fully, to recognize the patterns shaping your life, and to help you discover new possibilities for healing and connection.
Therapy wasn’t simply a professional path; it became a calling that shaped me in every meaningful way. My formal training includes a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge, and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Alongside education, life experience has been an equally powerful teacher. Raising two adult children, becoming a grandparent to a sweet and clever little boy, and partnering in the care of two remarkable teenagers who lost their mother early in life have all transformed my understanding of love, grief, and resilience. These experiences influence the compassion and clarity I bring into every session.
I draw from several therapeutic approaches that create a balanced, compassionate, and practical foundation for healing:
An honest yet nurturing approach that helps couples break out of painful cycles while moving toward respect, accountability, and closeness.
A gentle, powerful method that helps partners understand their emotional needs so they can reconnect in a safer and more loving way.
Evidence-based strategies that strengthen communication, connection, conflict repair, and trust.
I see you as a whole being — mind, body, and spirit. Because of that, our work together explores emotional safety, nervous system regulation, boundaries, meaning, connection, and joy. As we move through this process, I focus on your strengths: the parts of you that are already resilient, capable, and quietly working in your favor.
Warmth, grounding, honesty, and genuine care guide every session. I don’t simply sit across from you — I sit with you. I join your story, your struggle, and your hope. My goal is to help you feel safe, seen, and supported as you create the life and relationships you truly want.
Your healing matters deeply to me, and it is an honor to walk alongside you as you grow.
In my daily practice I use variety of therapeutic approaches that best meet the needs of my clients, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Attachment Theory and attachment-based approaches, Gestalt Therapy, Psychoanalytical approach or Analytical Psychology, in which, the goal is to achieve psychological healing and wellness by aligning conscious and unconscious aspects of the personality.

Balance in a relationship is not a final destination. Instead, it is an ongoing journey that couples experience together.
Sometimes partners feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the future of their relationship. However, these moments can also open the door to growth. When couples pause, reflect, and reconnect, meaningful change often begins.
The Couples Institute of Colorado helps partners rebuild connection and strengthen their relationship.
In therapy, couples enter a safe and supportive environment where both partners feel heard. This space allows emotions to surface without judgment.
Couples often begin to:
• Express emotions more openly
• Improve everyday communication
• Understand each other’s deeper needs
• Restore trust and emotional closeness
As a result, many couples start replacing unhealthy patterns with healthier ways of relating.
Our work is grounded in proven therapeutic approaches. For example, we integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method.
Because every relationship is different, therapy is always tailored to the couple. This personalized approach helps partners develop practical tools that support lasting change and emotional safety.
Ultimately, couples therapy focuses on building relationships rooted in empathy, respect, and balance.
Over time, partners gain deeper understanding of each other’s experiences. With guidance and practice, couples strengthen their bond and move toward a more connected and fulfilling relationship.
